Alchademy is a casual game that combines a very simple premise with fun and addictive gameplay. This is a title in which you help an alchemist create magical creatures by combining other simpler creatures.
As usual for a Hyperbeard title, the music and design of this game are the real stars. Your goal is to fill the alchemy book with all the beings and creations that exist. To do so, you'll have the help of the alchemists and their cauldron, which you can improve when you have enough points to buy new models.
When you start Alchademy, you'll have three basic elements: earth, fire, and water. By mixing these three elements in the cauldron, you can create new creatures, each with characteristics that you can look up in the book of combinations. As you mix creatures, new ones will appear, and you can start to merge them as well. There is also the possibility of reaching the end of the line with some creations, resulting in super special creatures that can't be merged with anything.
The cauldron will indicate whether you've already combined certain elements and the amount of mixtures you can make with each of them, so you don't waste time repeating the same combinations. In addition, there are failed mixtures, which result in something similar to rocks. However, these rocks are not totally useless, since you can build a stone golem that, once completed, earns you extra points.
Alchademy is a simple and very fun game with a wonderful design, as well as something else that's common in Hyperbeard titles: the time you spend not playing is also important. The alchemist will urge you to take advantage of this time to read a book or watch a series while he finishes preparing the latest mixture.
